Time Warp Vest 001 (S)

This top is about how our experience and perception of time is dependent on whether we are being true to ourselves. Sometimes, time disappears (when we become one with time) and sometimes it drags on, begging us to change directions (when we are not in alignment). This top is about embodying time and claiming time as our own, rather than falling victim to her.

The Time Warp Vest is a structured top that closes at the sides rather than the front. It has a relaxed fit with adjustable straps. There is intended to be a 2”-3” gap at the sides. Size up if you want more coverage. This vest is slightly cropped and is perfect for layering over a button up, sweater or dress. This design is fully lined with a soft cotton (deadstock, sourced in Ottawa) and made with extreme care.

Here are more of my reflections on time:  Time is funny. We chase her and we run from her. But what we’ve forgotten is that time belongs to us. Your life is an embodiment of time. There’s no need to be afraid of time because you are time - and there’s no need to be afraid of yourself. It’s impossible to be behind (or ahead) of anyone. There is no race, no finish line, no trophy for rushing. There is only your body, transforming infinitely from one moment to the next.
